They grew to offer a lovely range of vegetarian cakes, and over time expanded
the menu and opened a sister-cafe in Terryland.
The cafes faces the challenges of Covid, and celebrated their 10th birthday in 2022. Then in February 2024, they took a break for "a few weeks", eventually re-opening as Jemi Lighthouse at the end of March, just in time for Easter. The re-opening menu is smaller and carefully chosen with flavoursome savoury breakfast and lunch dishes.

Vegetarian, alternative in outlook - but with delicious cafes and a a
quirky approach to design, it offers a range of lunch dishes (spinach and
chick-pea curry with pumpkin on a recent visit) - as well as a great view
of the world walking by, and a menu featuring art from the gallery next
door.
