Temple Cafe is the latest café to open in the premises which used to house the hideous Orange and the garlic-heavy Cosmo.
The vibe and flavour combinations are much improved, and they've cracked the problem of paying sign-holders too.
It's a social business (it donates profits to various good causes) inspired by a Nobel Peace Prize laureate, so got some good publicity when it opened - and that seems to have turned into a plenty of happy customers.
Very little change to the decor this time around - just a few touches to make it different. Furniture made out of pallets does the trick - but the tables and chairs are more comfy than that!
The whole place now has a distinctly modern-day hippy feeling: yes, there are organic beetroot burgers (not kidding) - but they served me a BLT without grimacing, and managed a croissant, too.
