Archies coffee and ice-cream

May 2021 Update:   Archies is no more.  Roots Cafe have taken over the coffee-shop side of the business, and Churros 'n' Coffee took the other building.

In July 2020, the Cafe Express branch in Shop Street, opposite Anthony Ryan's menswear and just around the corner from St Nicholas' church, transformed into Arches coffee and ice-cream parlour.

Still offering some of the best coffee in Galway, they now have a separate counter offering traditional ice-cream from the sadly now-closed Moco Artisan Delicatessen in Oranmore.   

Both sections are covered by convenient awnings for those ever-so-soft Galway days, but have plenty of well-ventilated, socially distanced space where you can queue for coffee while watching the street entertainers.
