Update - April 2023
And they're back again! Galways on-again-off-again dessert cafe is open again, just in time for Easter!
Same pretty pink decor, which had to be repainted after the shop did time as a mini-Mocha Beans and a pop-up chip-shop.
The menu still has crepes, shakes, donuts and coffee - and mostly gelato.
The neibourhood has changed a bit: Enable Ireland have moved around the corner and Nana's Teas have moved in next-door.
Originally
This west-of-Ireland owned ice-cream cafe opened alongside a number of other dessert outlets in the second decade of the 21st century - and closed after summer 2021 when the weather got colder and the demand for ice-cream dried up.They made innovative use of a very small shop-site, packing a
kitchen in a shop that's really only one ice-cream freezer wide.
It's a sister-business to the Mocha Beans, so off course sells their house blend coffee
Their products are advertised as "Handmade in Ireland" and winning gold standards at the Blás na HEireann / Irish Food
Awards.

The sweet offerings include gelato, naturally enough - but also smoothies,
shakes, crepes and fresh donuts.
