Update
With no publicity and not signs in the windows, Roost just stopped opening
sometime in mid 2003, and the signs were removed from the premises in October.
RIP, Roost Galway. |
Originally
After catering for Taylors Bar during the Covid-19 "nine-euro meal" phase, and
running a "pop-up" food-truck in the yard next to Tonery's in Bohermore, Roost
finally opened their own storefront in Lower Dominick Street on 4 April 2022.
They're in a unit two doors along from Taylors, between Plámás Coffee and Giovanni's, which has been unoccupied for some time.
The menu includes plant-basted bites (cauliflower "wings"), boneless fried
chicken - made from Free Range Birds, and Serious Sauces (have you
ever met a sauce that wasn't serious?). And a chocolate-brownie
dessert option, soo.
Order via Deliveroo, or by phoning 087-7007334 for "Cluck &
Collect" (ouch!)
And remember, this is Roost, not to be confused with
Roosters in Eyre Square.
Address: 5 Dominick St Lower, Galway
Phone: 087-7007334 (originally 089
6031490 )
