Update: the McGuires retired in July 2022, and this store became Monaghan's Centra.
McGuire's convenience store / newsagent in Raven's Tce is a very long-standing family owned and run business, which was purchased in 1982 and then converted into a corner-store style supermarket in 1991. As well as the usual newspapers and small grocery items, they also have a very busy and well-patronised hot-food counter and deli.
They stayed open throughout the Covid-19 period in 2020/21 with reduced opening hours for a while but were back to extended hours 7am - 9pm from May 2020.
