Treasure Chest

This family-owned gift-store and clothing shop originally opened in Eglinton in 1966.

In 1985 they purchased Gift and Toy Shop on the corner of Castle and William Streets, and moved to this prominent main-street location as the Treasure Chest - where they stayed until Mary Bennett sold the building and retired, and the shop eventually closed on 30 September 2023.

Treasure Chest is now closed. To our incredible community of customers, we want to express our gratitude to each and everyoone of you. You are the heart and soul of our store, and your unwavering support and loyaltiy have filled these walls with warmth and joy. Over the years, we've had the privilege of serving you, sharing stories and helping you find that perfect treasure that brought a smile to your face. Your trust in us, you laughter and your shared memories have made Treasure Chest not just a store, but a place filled with joy. We are truly humbled by the relationships we've built and the moments we've shared with you. Your passion for our product and your enthusiasm for our store has been a constant source of inspiration, and for that we are forever grateful. Though our doors are closed, the memories we have created together will live on. We're excited to see where life takes you, and we hope you'll carry of piece of Treasure Chest's spirit with you wherever you go.
